i started reading this manga at my friends' about a month ago. (i can't afford to buy the actual manga right now, so i make use of other resources. like my friends' computer & internet connection, & the libraries where a lot of mangas are available. Razz ) anyway, about this manga, it was interesting that itou-kun would see sempai in that silhouette image of sensei. how itou-kun sees sempai as his encouragement, although unknown to sempai as he is also going through his own heartaches. Sad it caught my interest because it showed how a lot of times we only see what we want to see. we often make up our own story in our heads about someone or a situation, which then affects our decision-making & how we relate to others. Confused that is rather interesting of us humans to do that instead of just chosing to confront the other person for confirmation. maybe because of the fear of rejection... Confused
i'd like to read more of it & see it through the end.

I really enjoyed this story as well. =) It's a common case in mistaken identity, but it was still touching.

I like this one too. At first I was afraid the story was going to be overly predictable and cliched, but it's not at all. The quality of the storytelling is very high and really brings out the pathos of the character's situation. I became much more invested emotionally than I usually do with high school stories.
